BROADWAY JR!

     As our theater program’s stage director, I am thrilled to share this page showcasing the achievements of myself and my talented students. It has been an absolute joy to work with such a team of talented students and faculty. 

     Over the years, I have had the pleasure of directing several productions including FAME Jr, Into the Woods Jr, and Matilda Jr.  My first show I worked under the supervision of Kate Keeler who had been the stage director in previous years. Our first show was Fame Jr and the show was a success.  Shortly after that show the pandemic hit and the stage was left empty.  When we returned I volunteered to become the only director without a counterpart due to Mrs. Keeler stepping into a new role at a new school. I was up for the task. These shows required not only careful planning and coordination, but also intricate set designs that had to be built and moved with precision.

Through my guidance and support, my students have gained invaluable experience in the fields of art, theater, and design. They have learned the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and attention to detail, all while bringing their unique creativity to life on the stage.
